Do the different SDK versions for the individual platforms all include the same features?
Yes, all platforms have the same features. However, there might be some minor differences as each platform has its own technical challenges. Please check our documentation for technical details.
Do you also offer video editing?
No, we currently don’t offer video editing.
Are there prohibited use cases?
If the app you are building simply amounts to a thin wrapper around the SDK. For example, when your core and sole use case is to edit images you cannot license the SDK for this application. If you are uncertain whether this applies to you, contact us anyway and we'll discuss it.
For how many products can I use the SDK after I have bought a license?
Every license for the PhotoEditor SDK is valid for one product only unless the products are closely related. For example: If you have slightly localized apps for different countries, you don’t have to purchase two licenses. But if your company owns several solutions with different use cases you’d require separate licenses for each of them. When in doubt, just drop our sales team a line and we’ll work something out.
What is the definition of an export?
Each click on the download/export button is counted as one export.
What languages do you support?
Currently, the SDK only features English and German as default languages, but we’ve made it easy to add new languages on each platform. To do so, have a look at the documentation for HTML5, iOS and Android.
What happens when the trial is over?
The trial license has a fixed validity of 30 days. When you try to start the editor after that period, the app will crash.
Do you offer discounts when purchasing multiple licenses?
Yes, if you require multiple licenses for different projects, we can give you a discount on an individual basis. Please get in contact with us for further details.
What payment methods do you offer?
We offer payments by credit card with monthly or yearly payment for our standard plans. For Enterprise customers, we also offer payments via wire transfer.

Why do you only offer a subscription-based license and not a one-time fee?
We provide ongoing updates to ensure compatibility with new operating systems and browsers as the SDK cannot be expected to work reliably on all devices and browsers without these. Also, we spend considerable time into improving the SDK and equipping it with new features so that you can bring your users the best possible experience.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription any time up to 7 days prior to the next billing period. Just get in contact with your sales agent or open a support ticket here.
What happens if I cancel my subscription, will I still be allowed to use the SDK?
No, you are only allowed to use the PhotoEditor SDK for the time of your subscription. Please make sure that you destroy every copy of our SDK after you have terminated your subscription.
My app has multiple bundle identifiers for the released version and for testing. Does this work with one license?
Yes, you can add multiple bundle IDs of the same product for different development stages. Simply log in to your dashboard and add the bundle IDs in the Subscription section.
